Brooklyn started her coaching career in 2013, teaching CanSkate for Skate Saskatoon. She took the opportunity to coach for Skate Humboldt in 2015 and has been with the club ever since. Brooklyn is also a Registered Massage Therapist, giving her a more in-depth understanding of how the body works and how to keep it working well.
In her own skating career, Brooklyn had the privilege of travelling across western Canada. She was a member of the Saskatoon Silver Edges Synchronized Skating Team for four years and competed at a national level. Skating singles to the age of 18, Brooklyn also achieved Gold level in Skills and Dance testing, as well as Junior Silver level in Freeskate.
Brooklyn is trained in CanSkate and CanPowerSkate. She is a Certified Regional Coach and an In Training Provincial Coach. She is also a STAR 1-5 Coach Assessor and is currently training to be a STAR 6-Gold Skills Assessor.
