CanSkate: Learn to Skate now accepting registrations for the 2020-21 season!

Skate Humboldt’s 2020-21 CanSkate program begins October 16. This learn-to-skate program prepares young skaters of all ages to eventually advance into figure skating, other ice sports or just learn to skate for fun! More information about the CanSkate program can be found on the CanSkate program page.

Current COVID-19 guidelines will significantly reduce the number of skaters allowed on the ice at one time. As such, the option to skate on both Monday and Friday has been removed to allow the maximum number of skaters to participate for once-a-week lessons. In addition, we cannot allow skaters who are unable to move unassisted forward and backward and cannot get up on their own to participate. If this is your skater, DO NOT register them.

GET YOUR REGISTRATIONS IN QUICKLY! Since there are a limited number of spots available, priority will be given until October 4th to those skaters returning from last season to fill the available spots first so that they may continue advancing in their levels. After October 4th, all spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until the program is full. Even if you are registering a new skater (who can move unassisted on the ice and get up on their own), you are encouraged to still submit your registrations anytime to get your place in the queue.

DO NOT PAY until you receive confirmation your registration was accepted and you have a spot in the program. Once confirmed, full fees are due before your first session.

Visit the CanSkate program page to find links to the registration form. If you have any questions, please email info@skatehumboldt.ca.
